The Les Paul model was born in 1952.
This guitar was born as a signature model for jazz guitarists, and many guitarists around the world have left behind many great performances, and the trajectory has continued uninterrupted to this day.

This guitar was produced from 1981 to 1983 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Les Paul model.
The rubber stamped serial number is prefixed with a letter of the alphabet, A means it was produced in 1981, B means it was produced in 1982, and C means it was produced in 1983.

This particular piece is one of the A serials. The pots are all dated 81, which confirms that it was made in 1981, the first year of production.

The body is maple top/mahogany back. The neck is made of 3-piece mahogany, which is a specification from the 70s to early 80s.
Some of the later models were made with 1-piece mahogany like the original Les Paul, so the specs are typical of the transitional period.

The body and neck have weather checks due to aging, and the binding has cracks due to expansion and contraction caused by aging.
The binding has also developed cracks due to expansion and contraction caused by aging, and the metal parts are also dulled, sublimating it into a dignified piece that wears the proof of having survived for over 40 years.
Although some screws and other parts have been changed, the electrical system is fully original, as are the nut and frets, and overall the instrument retains much of its original condition.

The instrument has been checked and adjusted by a professional repair person after arrival, and is in good playing condition.
